How long is a small car in meters?

Is this seriously a question about how long a small car is? I mean, meters? Okay, okay, I can work with that. Let's see... thinking about zipping around in my little tin can... they're usually somewhere between, like, 3.2 and 4 meters, right? I'm picturing my old Fiesta; that thing was tiny! Probably closer to the 3.2-meter mark. Felt like I could park it in a shoebox, practically. (Slight exaggeration, maybe.) Something like a VW Polo, though? Probably a smidge longer, closer to the four-meter side of things, I'd guess. It's funny, isn't it? You think "small car," you think easy parking... but they still take up a surprising amount of space! You know what I mean? Especially when you're trying to parallel park on a busy street. Don't even get me started on that stress!
