What are zero-emission cars? Which cars produce no pollution?

Okay, so like, zero-emission cars... what are those, right? Basically, they're cars that don't pump out any nasty pollutants. Period.

Think no tailpipe emissions at all. Zip. Nada.

The Toyota Prius Prime is supposedly the most eco-friendly for 2022, or so they say. I rented one in L.A. last year, cost me like $45 a day, and honestly? It was quiet.

There's also the Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid...

...and that cute little Mini Cooper SE Hardtop 2 Door. Always wanted to drive one of those!

Oh, and the Nissan LEAF. My neighbor has one, and she loves it. Says it's saved her a ton on gas, though I thiiink she also got a rebate when she bought it?

Then the Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid. See lots of those around these days.

The Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue... never actually seen one in person, weirdly.

And that Mazda MX-30, which has the coolest suicide doors if you ask me. Seriously considering this one.

Lastly, the Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Reliable little thing! My aunt has one she bought at Fred Anderson Toyota, Columbia SC.

Honestly though, the whole "eco-friendly" thing feels kinda complicated, ya know? Like, where does the electricity come from? How are the batteries made? Makes my head spin sometimes.
