Can I withdraw money from GrabPay?

GrabPay withdrawals are tricky. Can’t just pull cash out directly. Annoying, right?

You have to transfer it to a Philippine bank account. Learned this the hard way when I tried to get cash for street food in Manila last December.

Had like ₱500 stuck in my GrabPay. No luck. Ended up using my debit card.

So, yeah, no direct cash withdrawals. Bank transfer only. Check their website for the list of banks they work with, it’s pretty extensive. Wish it were simpler, though.

UPI: ₹100,000 daily limit. Period.

My limit’s different. I pushed ₹150,000 yesterday. Weird.

Details that matter. Some banks, IDFC First Bank and Yes Bank, cap at ₹100,000. Others, like Canara Bank, allow ₹25,000 only. Check. Daily limits reset daily around midnight. Transaction limits could drop if flagged.

Visiting the bank is def the way to go. Like, $20,000! At least. Is that enough?

I should, like, call my branch. I bank with Wells Fargo. What’s THEIR limit, huh? Is it still $20,000 in 2024? Probably.

Going to the bank branch is the easiest. I mean, duh. Plus, tellers are people. ATM isn’t.

Branch withdrawal limits depend on the bank, right? What if I need more? What then? Loan? Lol.

My bank, Axis Bank, mirrors this. It’s 2024. Screw limits. Need more? Find a loophole.
