Can you believe someone used my debit card?! Oh my god, it's just infuriating. I'm practically pacing my living room right now, you know? It's such a violation – like, someone just reached into my life and stole something. It's not just the money, though it is a pretty significant chunk of my rent money, gone just like that. Ugh. The worst part is the feeling of helplessness, the not knowing. Who was it? What else could they do? I keep thinking about that story my aunt told me, years ago, about someone cleaning out her account – completely drained it. She never got a dime back. That's what keeps flashing in my head.

Thank goodness the bank can track it, right? I've already reported it, and I'm practically glued to my phone waiting for an update. I'm trying to stay positive, telling myself they'll catch whoever did this. I mean, they have to, don't they? But honestly? I'm a nervous wreck.
