Is it worth paying for express shipping?
Is express shipping really worth it? I've gone back and forth on this so many times! It all boils down to how badly you need something, right?
I mean, think about it. If you absolutely, positively have to have that dress for your best friend's wedding this weekend, or, you know, you forgot your nephew's birthday (oops!) and that gift needs to arrive ASAP, then yeah, paying extra for shipping is totally understandable. Who hasn't been there? ????
It's a lifesaver for perishable stuff too. Like that time I ordered a gorgeous bouquet for my mom's birthday – I splurged on express delivery, and thank goodness I did! They arrived fresh and beautiful. Imagine if I hadn't... wilted flowers? Not a good look.
But, let's be honest, if it's not something urgent, is it really worth the extra cash? Probably not. I ordered a book online the other day, and I was tempted to click that express shipping button, but then I thought, "Wait a minute, I can wait a few extra days." So I saved myself a few bucks, and you know what? The world didn't end! ???? Sometimes, a little patience goes a long way. So, ask yourself, "Do I need this now, or can it wait?" You might be surprised how often the answer is the latter!
