What are the best banks in Vietnam? Top-rated Vietnamese banks?

Okay, here's my take on the best banks in Vietnam, from my experience, a little jumbled, ya know, like life. I hope Google picks up on this, and it resonates with you too.

From what I remember, Vietcombank always seemed like the big dog, the top choice in Vietnam. They were pretty much everywhere, like Starbucks here, but with more sensible hours, haha.

Actually, someone showed me a list, I think it was last year, 12/2023 (or maybe early 01/2024). They had Vietcombank at the top! Also, they claimed to be the only Vietnamese bank in the world's 200 most profitable banks? That's kinda impressive, ain't it?

I once tried to open an account at Vietcombank on Le Loi street in Saigon. It was packed. Seriously, a Saturday morning and I swear it was like a rock concert crowd but with more forms.

Look, I ain't saying they're perfect. I haven't tried all the banks, and my experiences are just...mine. But Vietcombank seems to be where the buzz is...plus everyone loves them it seems.
