Basically, it's money you gotta cough up when you do stuff like buy that amazing new phone online or even just zapping cash to your friend for pizza. You know, everyday life stuff.
Think of it like this: it's the price for making sure the transaction goes smoothly and doesn't, like, disappear into the void. Payment processors, banks... they all gotta get paid.
Like, I remeber buying this vintage Star Wars poster at this con in Pasadena, Ca, back in Oct 2022. Added like $5 in fees even using PayPal. So frustrating!
