How can I get 100g of protein per meal?
Whoa, 100g of protein per meal? Seriously?! I mean, that's...a lot. Like, picture this: I once tried to eat a giant steak, thinking I was all tough, and it was maybe half that much protein. I felt stuffed for hours. Getting a full 100g in one sitting? I can’t even imagine. You’d be gnawing on chicken breasts like a wolf or downing protein shakes like they were going out of style!
It's not impossible, I guess. You could probably do it with some combination of, like, a huge piece of fish, a couple of scoops of protein powder, maybe some Greek yogurt… but who wants to eat like that, you know? It just doesn't sound enjoyable. And isn't food supposed to be, at least a little bit, enjoyable?
I remember reading somewhere that too much protein at once can be hard on your kidneys, too. Don't quote me on that, but I swear I saw it somewhere. Maybe it was on a body-building forum… those guys are intense. Anyway, it just seems more sensible to spread your protein out throughout the day. Have some eggs for breakfast, some lentils with lunch, maybe some chicken or fish for dinner. It’s so much easier to manage that way, and probably healthier too. Right? Just my two cents! I'm no expert, just a regular person trying to eat, haha.
