Bangladesh had the worst air quality in 2022, according to the University of Chicago's Air Quality Life Index (ACLI). Its average particulate matter (PM2.5) concentration was 54.17 μg/m³, significantly exceeding the World Health Organization guideline of 5 μg/m³. India, Nepal, and Qatar followed with substantially elevated PM2.5 levels.

Worst Air Quality Country 2024? Which Nation?
Okay, so like, the worst air quality country... geez.
Basically, for 2022 (data's kinda lagged, right?), Bangladesh was apparently rocking a PM2.5 level of 54.17 μg/m3. WHO says we should aim for, like, 5. Big difference, huge. India was next with 41.39, Nepal with 39.18, and then Qatar at 39.16.
I remember reading a news article sometime maybe september or october, cant recall exact date, about air quality alerts popping up in Kathmandu after diwali holidays. I mean, you could taste the smog. Horrible.
I saw data from UChicago's ACLI (Air Quality Life Index), it felt pretty accurate with the things ive seen.
