Propranolol 10 mg 是什麼藥？

Propranolol 10mg... what's the deal with that? I remember the first time I heard of it. My best friend, Sarah, was taking it for stage fright before a huge presentation. Can you imagine, stage fright so bad you need medication? Anyway, it's a beta-blocker, apparently. That means it kinda... blocks certain receptors in your body. The "beta" ones, obviously. (See, I'm learning!)

So, what does it actually do? Well, Sarah used it for anxiety, which makes sense, but it also treats a whole bunch of other things. High blood pressure, for one. And something called hyperthyroidism – I think that's an overactive thyroid? Yikes. Oh, and irregular heartbeats, too, which sounds pretty serious. And then there's essential tremor... my grandpa has that, it makes his hands shake. It's pretty sad, actually. I wonder if this would help him? I should probably look into that.
