What is considered fully vaccinated against COVID?

Ugh, this whole fully vaccinated thing is so confusing! For me, it meant two shots of Pfizer, then a nail-biting two weeks of waiting. I felt so relieved, finally protected, you know? But apparently, one J&J shot gets you there too, after that same waiting period. Its all a bit of a whirlwind, honestly, trying to keep up with which vaccines are authorized where, but Im just glad I got mine and felt that sense of security.

Okay, so you want me to take that blurb about being fully vaccinated and make it sound more like a real person talking? I can totally do that. Here’s my attempt:

“Okay, so what even is “fully vaccinated” these days, right? Ugh, it’s been such a moving target! For me, I remember it was like, two Pfizer shots, bam bam! But then, the longest two weeks of waiting to actually be considered fully vaccinated. Talk about nail-biting! I honestly felt like I could finally breathe again, like I had this invisible shield. You know that feeling, right?

But then, I heard that one J&J shot also counts, after its waiting period. Honestly, it’s all a bit of a whirlwind, trying to keep up! I mean, which vaccines are authorized where? And are we gonna need boosters forever? It’s enough to make your head spin. I remember my cousin was visiting from out of the country, and trying to figure out what she needed to be “good to go” was… a project.

Still, I’m just glad I got mine, you know? That feeling of security, even if it’s not perfect, is worth it. Makes me feel a little bit more like I can live my life. How about you? What was your vaccination experience like?”
