Is it a good idea to automate monthly credit card payments?

Okay, so you’re asking if setting up autopay for your credit card is a smart move? Honestly, yeah, I think it generally is. I mean, who wants to remember to pay bills every single month?

Think about it – setting up autopay basically guarantees you’ll pay on time. And why is that so important? Well, you avoid those annoying late fees, which, let’s be real, are just throwing money away. And more importantly, it keeps your credit score healthy. You know, that magical number that determines whether you get approved for a loan or a mortgage? Yeah, a good credit score is kinda a big deal.

I remember one time, my friend Sarah forgot to pay her credit card bill for like, two months in a row. Life got busy, and it just slipped her mind. Her credit score took a serious hit. It took her ages to build it back up! Seeing what she went through, that’s when I decided autopay was the way to go for me.
