Which bank details to receive money?

Which bank details do I need to give out again? Ugh, this always makes me so nervous! Seriously, just the account number and sort code? It feels like giving away a piece of myself, you know? Like, super exposed. Remember that time I almost fell for that phishing scam? Nearly gave my details to some random website promising free puppies! (Don’t even get me started on how much I wanted a puppy that day!) Okay, okay, I’m rambling.

But it’s unavoidable, isn’t it? I mean, how else am I supposed to get paid? My paycheck? My freelance gigs? Even getting that twenty quid back from Sarah for that coffee, we had last week. It’s a necessary evil, like paying taxes, or having to talk to someone in customer service, a really, truly necessary evil that also makes me feel like I’m walking a tightrope over a shark-infested pool. Still makes my palms sweat a little, though. Maybe I should just start using Venmo or something? Nah, too complicated. Maybe. I dunno. This is stressing me out!
