Who makes more money Visa or Mastercard?
Visa generates more operating cash flow. While Mastercard saw stronger growth (17.5% YoY), Visa generated significantly more cash overall at $19.95 billion (vs. Mastercards $14.08 billion) in the last 12 months.
Okay, so you wanna know who’s raking in more dough, Visa or Mastercard? It’s a good question, right? I mean, they’re practically everywhere!
Well, from what I’ve been reading, it looks like Visa’s the king when it comes to pure cash flow. Yeah, Mastercard might be growing faster – like, they had a really good year with 17.5% growth compared to the year before. That’s awesome for them, go Mastercard!
But… and this is a big but… Visa still hauled in way more actual money in the last year. We’re talking like, almost $20 billion ($19.95 billion to be exact)! Mastercard? Still impressive, but landed around $14 billion. Wowza!
It’s kinda like that time I was trying to grow tomatoes in my garden. My neighbor’s tomatoes were growing like crazy (fastest growth ever!), but I still ended up with more tomatoes overall. You get the picture, right?
