What kind of driver makes the most money?

Is it even possible to make good money driving anymore? I mean, $35,000 a year would be amazing, honestly! I've been looking into this myself, actually. Those airport shuttle gigs and the courtesy shuttles for hotels and stuff, they seem pretty chill. Especially if you're a people person, you know? You're driving around, chatting folks up – could be worse, right?

Then there's taxi driving… I've heard it can be really lucrative if you hit the right spots and times. But man, the stress! Imagine dealing with traffic and crazy passengers all day long. No thanks! I remember reading somewhere – maybe it was a rideshare blog? – that some taxi drivers in big cities can pull in some serious cash, but the burnout rate is high. Makes sense.

Oh, and what about those paratransit drivers? They often work with people with disabilities, which sounds incredibly rewarding, but I think you need special certifications and licenses for that. It's definitely more of a commitment. Like, a friend of my cousin does that, and she makes decent money, but it's a pretty demanding schedule, I hear.

So yeah, how much you can rake in behind the wheel really boils down to what you're willing to do, doesn't it? What kind of personality you have, and how much that work-life balance thing matters to you versus just, like, cold hard cash. It's a tough call. I'm still trying to figure it out myself!
