What constitutes a business document?

Okay, so, what is a business document, really? It’s kinda like the paper trail of everything that happens in a business, right? Inside the company and out. I mean, think about it… where would we be without these things? Seriously! These documents are like, the memory of the organization. They tell the story. Everything from, I don’t know, maybe a memo about changing the coffee in the break room (which, by the way, really matters!), to a huge contract with a major supplier – like the one my friend Sarah negotiated last year, talk about pressure! That deal basically saved her company, so yeah, business documents, pretty important stuff. You need them to manage everything, to keep track of what’s going on, and to make sure everyone’s on the same page. And let’s not forget dealing with other companies, suppliers, clients… you know, the whole external world! Without these documents, it would be chaos, absolute chaos. Imagine trying to prove what you agreed to with a client six months ago without a written record. Yikes! It’s kinda like trying to remember what you had for breakfast three Tuesdays ago. Good luck with that! So, yeah, in short, they’re essential. No two ways about it.
