Okay, so, "What country has the worst speeding fines?" Ugh, just thinking about it makes my wallet hurt!

Well, from what I've heard – and believe me, I've heard some stories from friends who've traveled – Norway is probably the place where you really don't want to put the pedal to the metal. I mean, seriously, these fines are insane!

Like, apparently, just for going a little bit over the limit on the highway, you could be looking at a €720 fine. That's like, what, a week's worth of groceries? Maybe even more! And it gets worse! If you're in a town or city, and you're going, say, 20 km/h over the limit – which, let's be honest, is SO easy to do, especially if you're not paying super close attention – you could be slapped with a €960 fine. Nine hundred and sixty euros! Can you even imagine?!

I remember my buddy, Mark, went to Norway a few years back. He's usually a pretty careful driver, but he said the speed limits were so low, he felt like he was crawling!
