What is the full meaning of go?

So, what does "going" really mean? I mean, it's more than just, like, putting one foot in front of the other, right? Think about it – remember that time I went to that awful family reunion in Ohio? Ugh. That was "going," alright. Pure, unadulterated dread. But then there was that trip to the coast last summer...wow. The anticipation, the packing, the whole build-up – that was a completely different kind of "going." Pure excitement, you know?
