How much do you get paid to be a Disney actor?
Wow, $20.25 an hour to be a Disney actor? Thats more than I expected! It still feels a little low, considering the intense energy, memorization, and constant performing required. I mean, youre literally bringing magic to life for thousands of people every day, dealing with cranky kids and scorching heat – that deserves a premium, doesnt it? Good for them for getting above national average though, thats something.
Seriously? $20.25 an hour to be a Disney actor?! That’s… more than I thought, honestly. But then again, is it really? Think about it. All that energy you have to have, memorizing lines, performing constantly, always on. I remember going to Disney World once – it was scorching! And these poor actors are out there in full costume, smiling, singing, dealing with, like, a million screaming kids. Talk about demanding! You’re literally making dreams come true, you know? Shouldn’t that be worth more? I mean, it is above the national average, which is cool and all, but still… It just makes you wonder. Remember that video that went viral a while back? The one with the cast member who collapsed from heat exhaustion? That kind of stuck with me. They put in work. So yeah, $20.25. Good for them, I guess. But part of me still thinks they deserve way more. Don’t you?
