Which nationality is better?
Best nationality? Comparing nationalities for potential benefits?
Okay, so "best nationality"? That's a weird question, right? Like, comparing people based on where they were born? Feels kinda icky.
But, I did see that ranking, something about Germans scoring high. Eighty-three point one percent, or whatever. Apparently, they're super easy to live and work with internationally.
I met this German guy, Thomas, in Barcelona in July 2022. We were both learning Spanish – terrible, both of us. He was working remotely for a tech company. Seemed pretty easy for him.
That said, my own experience? Totally different. My best friend, Italian, struggled tons getting a work visa in Canada. Cost a fortune, too. Thousands of dollars in lawyer fees alone. So, what gives?
It's just... complicated. There's no single "best," is there? Nationality's about so much more than paperwork. It's about culture, people, experiences...you know?
Germans ranked highly for international work/life.
