What are the environmental factors affecting transport operations?

Ugh, transport, right? Greenhouse gases are a HUGE deal. Seriously, I saw a documentry, like, last week about that. Planes, trucks… everything. My flight to Denver last month? Probably added a ton of that crap to the atmosphere.

Then there's air pollution; smog is choking cities. Remember that awful haze in LA? My lungs hurt just thinking about it.

Fuel costs… fuel consumption is insane! Gas prices are ridiculous, and it's all connected, this whole mess. The economy, the environment… it's all tangled up. Makes me want to just bike everywhere.

Noise pollution. Trains are so loud! Living near the tracks? Forget peaceful evenings. I’ve always wanted to move to a quieter place.

Land use – building roads and stuff. Habitat fragmentation is a problem too. Animals losing homes, it’s awful. I read a study on that this year.

Water pollution from runoff and spills. Water pollution is a silent killer. Think of the oceans. We're ruining everything. It pisses me off.

And then infrastructure development, tearing up the land. All that construction. More concrete jungles!

Waste generation... all the packaging, the tires… where does it all go? Landfills overflowing. It's ridiculous! Recycling is a joke. They don't even recycle everything!

Plus, charging stations aren't everywhere yet, especially not in bumfuck nowhere like where my aunt lives. That's a HUGE problem. Need better infrastructure NOW.

Then there's the cost! Electric cars are expensive. Public transport? Often unreliable, crowded, and late. My commute was a nightmare last week. Missed my meeting because the bus broke down!

Logistics are a complete nightmare. Software, apps, tracking... it's all so complicated. Companies are drowning in data, trying to optimize routes and deliveries. It's a mess. My friend works for a logistics company – he's stressed all the time.

What is the least eco-friendly way to travel?
