Is Celsius only in the US?
Is Celsius only in the US? Gosh, no! That's a funny thing to think, actually. I mean, I remember being so confused the first time I went to Canada – everything was in Celsius, and I'm like, "Wait, is my phone broken? Is this some weird alternate reality where I suddenly don't understand basic weather reports?" It was a bit of a shock, let me tell you. The US sticks with Fahrenheit, it's like, this stubborn little island of imperial measurements in a sea of metric. I guess it's just habit, right? They've been using it for ages. But pretty much everywhere else? Celsius. Nearly everyone else on the planet uses Celsius. It just makes so much more sense, scientifically speaking – I mean, water freezes at zero, boils at 100, simple as that! Makes it so much easier to wrap your head around. Makes me wonder why we're still clinging to Fahrenheit, honestly. Probably just inertia, and a reluctance to change. But hey, at least I learned another system!
