1924: Key Events & Historical Facts?

Okay, here's my take on 1924, kinda stream-of-consciousness style:

1924... wow, almost a century ago, right? The US had 48 states, crazy! Can you imagine? Gas for like, 20 cents? I'd be rich!

A dollar was worth $18 now? That's wild. Like, actually worth something. Not like now, where a dollar gets ya... well, not much, lol.

Wheaties came out, that's kinda cool! I actually like Wheaties. My grandpa used to eat them every single morning.

The Statue of Liberty became a national monument. I went to see it once, maybe 2010. Worth it? Kinda. Very touristy.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade's first year... My grandma loved that parade. She'd make us watch it every year. So many memories.

Just random facts: 48 states, gas was cheap, Liberty was "official", Wheaties were born, the parade begin.
