Types of Temporary Residence Cards (TRCs) in Vietnam

Vietnam issues various types of Temporary Residence Cards (TRCs) to foreign nationals residing in the country for extended periods. Each type of TRC has a specific validity period and is granted based on the purpose of the stay.

NG3 Card

The NG3 TRC is issued to foreign experts and skilled workers employed by Vietnamese companies or organizations. It is valid for a maximum of three years and can be renewed multiple times.

LV1 Card

The LV1 TRC is issued to family members of foreign experts and skilled workers holding NG3 cards. It is also valid for three years and can be renewed to coincide with the validity period of the NG3 card.

LV2 Card

LS Card
