What country has the worst mental illness rates?

Ugh, figuring out which country has the worst mental illness rates is a real mess, isn't it? It's like, you try to find a single answer, and it's just... complicated. I mean, the US is definitely up there, which just breaks my heart. Seeing those stats, with us ranking so high alongside Colombia and the Netherlands… it's terrifying. Seriously, what’s going on? It's not like we're lacking in resources, are we? I remember my cousin Sarah struggling to find affordable therapy, and that was in a fairly affluent area, too. Makes you wonder about those without access to anything at all.

And then you look at places like Nigeria and Italy, seemingly doing better... it's infuriating. It's not like they don't have their own problems, they just seem to be handling things differently, somehow. Maybe their communities offer more support? Or maybe their definition of "mental illness" is different? I don't have all the answers, obviously, but this huge disparity makes me so angry and sad.
