What is a word everyone says wrong?

Okay, so you want to know a word everyone messes up? Hmm, that’s a good question. Well, think about it… I’d say “ask” being said as “aks” is a big one, right? I mean, how many times have you heard that? I know I’ve definitely slipped up and said it myself a few times, haha.

But it’s not the only one! You know, there are a bunch of other words that seem to trip people up. Like, “supposedly” – people often forget that “d” sound in there, and it comes out sounding like “supposably.” Does that make sense? And then there’s coffee… Oh, don’t even get me started on “espresso.” It’s definitely not “expresso,” even though it kinda makes sense phonetically, doesn’t it?

And how about “nuclear”? For some reason, a lot of people say “nucular.” I wonder where that comes from? It’s kind of funny, actually.

Oh! And I bet you’ve also heard people shortening words, too. “Probably” often loses a syllable or two and just becomes “prolly.” It happens! I think we’re all just trying to save time, you know?
