Based on reported good practices, SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) appears to be the most successful Sustainable Development Goal. Other well-represented SDGs include SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 1 (No Poverty).

Which Sustainable Development Goal is most successful?

Ugh, picking the most successful SDG feels impossible. It's like choosing a favorite child! Figure 1 showed SDG 17 (Partnerships) topping the "Good Practices" list, alongside SDG 4 (Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities), SDG 8 (Decent Work), and SDG 1 (No Poverty). That's a lot of amazing progress!

Seriously, though, defining "success" is tricky. I saw a report last year (June 2023, some think tank in Geneva, can't recall the name) – it emphasized quality data being crucial for accurate assessment. Measuring success isn't simple.

I mean, SDG 4? My niece, she got a scholarship – that's directly related. That's real success. Yet, globally, huge inequalities persist.

So, a simple "most successful" answer feels wrong. It's more about which ones show the most visible progress and which areas need most work. SDG 17, maybe, because collaboration is key.

All of them are interconnected. It's a web, not a race. My head's spinning, honestly. It's a complex issue. Maybe I'll reread that Geneva report...later.

Which country has the best sustainable development?

Okay, so, "best" is tough, right? But Sweden springs to mind.

I went to Stockholm in July 2023. Wow. That place IS green. Parks everywhere.

Seriously, bikes were EVERYWHERE. I felt SO guilty taking a taxi even once!

Everyone's recycling and there are wind turbines all over the place!

Denmark's probably up there too. It's close to Sweden, and the vibe is similar.

  • Green Countries:
    • Sweden (obvious)
    • Denmark (very similar)
    • Finland (nordic countries always excel)
    • Switzerland (nature, lakes!)
    • Austria (very very clean)
    • Luxembourg (small but powerful)
    • Iceland (geothermal is brilliant)
    • Germany (theyre trying, alright?)
    • Norway (missed off, should be listed!)

It's not just recycling, you know? It's like, in their blood. My friend, Elin, she's Swedish and she got actually mad at me for throwing a bottle in the wrong bin.

Elin said "It's not that difficult!", like I was an idiot. I felt bad after, though.

Oh, yeah and Norway too! How could I forget Norway? My Aunt went there on a cruise last year and loved how clean the fjords were!

It's an attitude thing I reckon, not just what the government says. Like, people ACTUALLY care there.

Plus, the air quality? Forget about it. So fresh. Not like back home, haha.
