What defined the Roaring Twenties?

Okay, here's my take on the Roaring Twenties, from my own memory and perspective:

The Roaring Twenties, also called the Jazz Age, was a wild time. First decade with a cool nickname, ya know?

It was a decade swinging between riches and, uh, kinda reckless living. Jazz was HUGE.

Think jazz bands, the kind that make ya wanna dance. Plus, folks drinking illegal booze—bootleggers were everywhere, I've read.

Flappers were totally rocking it, fashion-wise. Short hair, short dresses – daring! It was a really different world compared to before.

Honestly, it seems pretty extra. From what I gather, there was also weird stuff. People sitting on flagpoles for days. Marathon dancing. Raccoon coats, apparently. Like, who even wears those? I'm so confused by that decade!

Imagine illegal gin being made in your bathtub. Total chaos! It sounds fun kinda ngl.
