Is tandem 2 or 3?

“Tandem… is it a 2-wheeler or a 3-wheeler thing? Seriously, this question always messes with my head! I mean, when I picture a tandem, I automatically think two wheels, you know? But then, you have the three-wheeled kind! And honestly? It kinda feels like… cheating a little bit, doesn’t it? Okay, okay, I get it. They’re probably way more stable. Safer? Definitely!
