Are online bank transfers immediate?
Do online bank transfers happen instantly?
Okay, so you wanna know if online bank transfers are, like, BAM, instantly done? Well, NatWest reckons if you got the funds, it should be immediate. But does that really happen?
Haha, not always in my world. I've waited!
From my own experience, say, transferring money from my NatWest account to, umm, my Monzo. It's usually pretty quick. Like, a minute or two.
I recall one time – maybe around 15 December last year – I transferred £50. I thought it would be instant, based on what I read somewhere (NatWest website!). But nope. Took maybe 10 minutes. Grr.
Maybe it was because it was near Christmas, who knows? Banks get weird then. So instant? Mostly, yeah. Technically. But life? Well, its messy.
