Can someone else use my Grab account?
Okay, so can someone else use my Grab account? Technically, no, not just anyone. But Grab has this Family Account thing. If I add someone I trust – over 18, of course – as a family member (up to 9!), then they can use it. I guess thats kinda sharing, and Id get updates, which could be handy, or super annoying depending on whos using it! Still, Id only add people I really trust, you know?
So, you’re wondering if someone else can hop onto your Grab account? I’ve totally been there! Technically, it’s a no-go for just anyone. But, and this is pretty cool, Grab has this “Family Account” thing. It’s a lifesaver, honestly. You can add up to NINE people – as long as they’re over 18, obviously – and they can use your account. It’s kinda like sharing, I guess?
Like, my mom isn’t great with technology. Bless her heart. So I added her to my family account. Now she can book rides herself, which is a huge relief. I can keep tabs on her trips too – which is sometimes helpful, sometimes…well, let’s just say I know exactly how many trips she takes to the mall each week! It can be a little much. But still, wouldn’t trade it, you know?
The big thing is trust, right? I mean, you get notifications and everything. You see where they’re going, when, all that jazz. So, would I add just anybody? Heck no! Only people I super, super trust. Imagine the chaos otherwise! Lost in translation? Unexpected charges? No thanks! It’s like lending your car – you only do it for people you really, really trust. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
