Removing Payment Cards from Your Apple Account

One way to block Apple Pay is to remove the payment cards from your Apple Account. This will prevent anyone from using your cards to make payments with Apple Pay, even if they have your device.

To remove payment cards from your Apple Account:

1. Go to the “Settings” app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
3. Select “Payment & Shipping.”
4. Tap on “Apple Pay.”
5. Select the card you want to remove.

Remotely Erasing Your Device via Find My

If your Apple device is lost or stolen, you can remotely erase it to disable Apple Pay functionality. This will erase all of the data on your device, including your payment cards.

To remotely erase your device:

1. Go to the Find My app on another Apple device.
2. Sign in to your Apple ID.
3. Select your lost or stolen device from the list of devices.
4. Tap on “Erase This Device.”

Once you have remotely erased your device, Apple Pay will be disabled.
