Deleting a Lyft Account

Lyft users can permanently delete their accounts by following these steps:

1. Open the Lyft app or website.
2. Log in to your account.
3. Tap or click on your profile picture.

5. Scroll down and select "Delete Account."
6. Confirm your decision by entering your password.

Once you delete your Lyft account, it is permanently removed from the platform. Any existing data, such as ride history, payment information, and rewards points, will be lost.

Creating a New Lyft Account

If you wish to rejoin Lyft after deleting your previous account, you will need to create a new one. This process requires providing new personal and payment information.

1. Download the Lyft app or visit the Lyft website.
2. Tap or click on "Sign Up."
3. Enter your name, email address, and preferred password.
4. Provide your phone number and verify it via SMS.
5. Enter your payment information.

Once your new account is created, you will be able to use Lyft as normal. However, your previous ride history, rewards, and other data will not be accessible.
