Can You Send an E-Transfer Without an Email?

E-Transfers are a convenient and secure way to send and receive money electronically. They are processed through the Interac® network, which is Canada's leading provider of electronic payment services.

To send an e-Transfer, you must have a Canadian bank account and be registered for online banking. You will also need the email address or mobile phone number of the person you are sending the money to.

In most cases, you will be able to send an e-Transfer without an email address. However, there are some financial institutions that require you to have an email address on file in order to send e-Transfers.

If you do not have an email address, you can still send an e-Transfer by using your mobile phone number. To do this, you will need to register for Interac e-Transfer through your financial institution's mobile banking app.

Once you have registered for Interac e-Transfer, you can send an e-Transfer by following these steps:

1. Log in to your online banking account.
2. Select the "e-Transfer" option.

4. Enter the amount of money you want to send.
5. Enter a security question and answer.
6. Click the "Send" button.
