Can you use a checking account for online shopping?
Can you use a checking account for online shopping? Well, duh! Of course you can! I mean, I use mine all the time. It's so convenient, isn't it? Loads of places take them directly – Amazon, Walmart... you name it. I bought a new waffle iron the other day on Amazon, straight from my checking account. No fuss, no muss. It felt good, you know, not adding to my credit card balance. Although, sometimes it can be a little tricky. Not every place takes them directly, right? I remember trying to buy something from this tiny online boutique – super cute handmade jewelry, by the way – and they only took cards or PayPal. It was a bit of a bummer. So, yeah, while most big retailers are totally fine with checking accounts, it’s always a good idea to, like, glance at the payment options before you hit that checkout button. Wouldn’t want to get all excited about something and then be disappointed, would you? Just a little heads up!
