Do levitation trains exist?

Yes, levitation trains exist! These Maglev trains use magnets to float above the tracks, reaching high speeds. Shanghai, Japan, and South Korea have operational Maglevs. The US is exploring routes for this technology as well.

Okay, so you wanna know if levitation trains are actually a thing? Seriously? Yes! They are! It’s like something out of a sci-fi movie, right? But it’s totally real. We’re talking Maglev trains here, and the coolest part is, they use magnets to, like, literally float above the tracks. I mean, come on, floating trains!

Because they’re floating, they can hit some seriously crazy speeds. I remember reading something about how the Shanghai Maglev… that’s in China, by the way… can get up to like, almost 300 miles per hour! Can you even imagine? My poor old Honda Civic would be left in the dust, haha.

Anyway, yeah, Shanghai has one. Japan’s got ’em too, and I think South Korea does as well. It’s not just some pipe dream, you know? They’re actually doing it.

And get this, even the US is kicking around the idea of building some Maglev lines. I think they were looking at routes between like, DC and Baltimore? Or maybe it was Atlanta? I can’t remember exactly, but they’re definitely thinking about it. Maybe one day I’ll be able to skip the airport security and just float to my next vacation. Wouldn’t that be something?
