Do you need data to call an Uber?
Do you really need all that data to call an Uber? Seriously, sometimes I feel like they're tracking my every move! I mean, I get it, they need my location to, you know, find me. And to navigate, obviously. But honestly? It feels a little creepy, doesn't it? Like, always watching. It's like that time I was trying to meet a friend secretly at a coffee shop after work – felt super awkward knowing Uber probably knew exactly where I was, even before I got there!
They say it makes the service better, and I guess it does, the app is usually pretty spot on. But is a slightly faster pickup really worth giving up that much privacy? I mean, I'm not a criminal or anything, I just like having a bit of mystery in my life, you know? I'd happily wait an extra two minutes for my ride if it meant Uber wasn't so, I don't know... on top of me all the time. Maybe I'm being paranoid. Or maybe, just maybe, I'm not the only one who feels this way. It's a small price to pay for convenience, sure, but is it the right price? Hmmm... something to think about.
