Does private browsing really hide everything? I used to think so, honestly! I mean, who hasn’t frantically clicked that “private” button thinking they’re suddenly invisible online? Turns out, it’s not quite that simple, which is a bit of a bummer, right?

Nope, private browsing doesn’t hide everything. It’s like putting on a flimsy disguise – good enough to fool a casual observer, maybe, but not a detective. What it does do is stop your browser from keeping a record of your naughty little internet adventures – your history, cookies (those little trackers, you know?), and all that form data you fill in. Think of it as cleaning up your own digital fingerprints.

But here’s the thing, and this is important: your actual activity is still totally visible to other people. Like, for example, your internet service provider – your ISP. They see everything. Remember that time I tried to order those ridiculously overpriced cat pajamas at 3 am? Yeah, my ISP knows. They probably judged me. Hard.

Then there are the websites themselves. They definitely see what you’re doing on their site.
