Does Wi-Fi calling increase phone bill?
Does Wi-Fi calling increase my phone bill? Nah, thankfully not! Seriously, what a relief that was to figure out. I remember being so worried about it when I first heard about Wi-Fi calling – I thought, "Oh great, another sneaky way for the phone companies to get more money out of me." But no, it actually saves me money, especially when I'm abroad. Like that time I was in Italy, remember? I was able to call my mom every day without racking up insane roaming charges. It was awesome! I could just connect to the hotel Wi-Fi and chat away. The best. Of course, sometimes you have to pay for Wi-Fi, like in that weird little cafe in Venice, but that's, like, a separate thing, right? Not part of my phone bill itself. So yeah, totally worth it. Who wouldn't want free calls over Wi-Fi? Makes perfect sense to me.
