How many GB of data does the average person use per day?
The average person uses about 7.6 GB of data per day. A three-person household uses roughly 22.8 GB daily, or 684 GB monthly (based on a 30-day month).
Wow, 7.6 GB of data a day?! That’s…a lot, isn’t it? I mean, I know I’m constantly on my phone, scrolling through Instagram, checking emails (too many emails!), and occasionally even, you know, working. But that much? It’s kind of mind-blowing. I remember back in the day, dial-up, waiting forever for a picture to load… now it’s gigabytes just disappearing into the ether daily.
So, a family of three, like, my sister, her husband, and their little one, would be using almost 23 GB a day. That’s like… what, 684 GB a month?! (If we’re going with a 30-day month, which, let’s be real, not every month is.) That’s insane. My sister is always complaining about their data limits; I guess I can see why now! I should probably tell her about these numbers. Maybe they need a better plan? I remember that time I went over my limit on vacation; oof, that bill was not pretty. It makes you really appreciate just how much data we’re all churning through, doesn’t it?
