How much percentage cut does Grab take?
What percentage commission does Grab take?
Okay, so, how much does Grab really take? Hmmm.
From my understanding, and from what I've seen floating around online, Grab usually takes about 25% commission. The driver pockets the remaining 75%.
But... I dunno, sometimes it feels like more. Like, I saw this one Reddit thread, a guy mentioning Grab taking a whopping 50% in Bangkok? Could be different there, though.
It's kinda confusing, right? Espeshly with all the other fees they slap on, like the 4% charge for foreign cards I saw mentioned.
The drivers deserve every cent. I always try to tip, even if it's just a small amount. Helps offset those commissions a bit, hopefully. Seen people in Vietnam asking the same question on Reddit, so it's clearly on people's minds. I'm sure that tips are fully for the driver.
