Is Microsoft Copilot going to be free?
Is Microsoft Copilot going to be free? Ugh, that's the million-dollar question, isn't it? I'm so bummed it's not completely free! I mean, it's bundled with my Microsoft 365 Family plan, which is great, but I’m getting the feeling I'm stuck with the kiddie pool version, the one with the inflatable flamingo instead of the awesome water slide. Seriously, Microsoft? Dangling that Pro version in front of us like a juicy carrot? It feels…cheap, you know? Like, really manipulative. They make all these amazing features sound so helpful, so indispensable – then bam – extra monthly fee!
I was really hoping to use Copilot for, you know, actual work. Like that huge presentation I've been putting off? Copilot could've totally helped me with the outline and even some of the writing! But if the Pro version is the only one with decent features... that's a problem. I read somewhere that the Pro version can handle much larger files and even integrate with other apps better. Things I’d actually use! I'm just not sure I can justify another monthly charge on top of everything else. Remember that time I tried to subscribe to that online yoga class? Lasted a week! So I'm hesitant to shell out even more money only to hardly use it. Is it really worth it? Ugh, I'm on the fence, seriously. Decisions, decisions…
