What country uses the least cash?
Okay, but seriously, Norway?! They're practically living in a cashless utopia! 98% card usage? Is that even real? I mean, think about it... how often do you actually use cash anymore? For me, it's almost never. But Norway's taken it to a whole new level. It's mind-blowing! Only a tiny, tiny percentage of their transactions are in cash. Just imagine, never having to dig around for crumpled bills or loose change... pure bliss, right? And the fact that contactless payments are so huge there? It's like they've perfected the art of easy peasy transactions. I remember being in London a few years ago and being amazed at how common contactless was – but Norway’s even further ahead. Makes me a little jealous, not gonna lie. I mean, sometimes I can't even find my wallet, let alone the right amount of cash! So, yeah, Norway’s definitely winning the cashless game. They’re showing the rest of us what the future of payments looks like.
