Inventions of 1923: What was invented?
Okay, so 1923, right? Man, that's a blast from the past. Suddenly I'm thinking about my grandpa's stories.
Electric razors! Jacob Schick, the name rings a bell. My dad used to swear by his Norelco, probably some later model though.
Frozen food, too? Clarence Birdseye. Now that's a game changer! Think about all those grocery trips saved… I could've used that in college. I'd have made so much less trips to the store in college.
Then there was the sound-on-film stuff – Phonofilm. Crazy to think how movies changed after that! Imagine the impact that had.
Zworykin and his TV work, I'm fuzzy on the details, but that was HUGE.
And Firestone's balloon tires? Road trips suddenly became so much smoother. I have pictures of my family in our 1960 Ford Falcon. They probably weren't balloons, but Firestone's impact is unquestionable.
