What is the bolt pattern of a Tesla?
Okay, so, about Tesla Model 3 bolt patterns... From what I understand, if youre tinkering with a Model 3 from 2017 to 2023, youre looking at a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Id hate to get that wrong and end up with wheels that dont fit! Also, a pro-tip I read suggested that the offset should probably be somewhere between ET30 and ET35 for the right look. I just think its a total bummer when new wheels dont sit quite right, know what I mean?
So, you’re wondering about Tesla Model 3 bolt patterns, huh? Yeah, I’ve been there. It’s a total headache trying to figure this stuff out, isn’t it? I nearly bought the wrong wheels for my sister’s 2020 Model 3 – can you believe it? Luckily, I stumbled across some info just in time, or else… well, let’s just say it would’ve been a very expensive mistake.
Anyway, for a Model 3, from like 2017 to 2023, I think it’s a 5×114.3 pattern. That’s what I’ve read, anyway, and I’ve triple-checked a few different forums – you know how paranoid I get about this stuff! I mean, who wants to spend all that money on new wheels only to find out they don’t even fit? Total disaster.
And the offset, oh man, the offset. I saw somewhere, a pro tip, or maybe it was a forum post… something about aiming for between ET30 and ET35. Apparently, that’s the sweet spot for a good look, you know, so they don’t stick out too far or sit too deep in the wheel well. Remember that time I saw that ridiculously offsetted car in the parking lot? It looked like a monster truck! I’d rather avoid that kind of… ahem… fashion statement.
Seriously though, getting the right fit is crucial. It’s one of those things you don’t really think about until you’re knee-deep in it, and it feels awful when something so seemingly simple ends up being wrong. So yeah, double, maybe even triple check before you buy anything!
