Fastest growing consumer category, you say? Well, I'll be darned – it's furniture and home goods! I mean, that is kind of surprising, isn't it? But then again… after all that time cooped up inside, who wouldn't want to spruce things up a bit? I know I did! A 1.7% jump? That's not chump change, you know? Makes you think. I've been, like, seriously considering getting a new couch – this amazing comfy one I saw online – and I bet everyone else is doing the same! We were all stuck staring at the same four walls for so long. Remember those early pandemic days? Baking bread and rearranging furniture were, like, the only things to do. Maybe this whole home-goods boom is just a continuation of that, right? Kind of like how my friend, Sarah, completely redid her living room – new paint, rug, the whole shebang.
