What is the most expensive thing bought on the internet?
Is that seriously the most expensive thing ever bought online? A Picasso for $115 million?! Good grief. I can't even wrap my head around that. It's like… I splurge on a fancy coffee and feel a little guilty, and someone's out there casually clicking "purchase" on a private island?!? Or a diamond the size of a golf ball! I saw this article, I think it was in the New York Times, about how luxury goods are increasingly being sold online. I guess it makes sense, right? But still… It's just so…extravagant. Makes my little online shopping sprees for, like, you know, a new sweater, seem kinda… pathetic. Remember that time I spent like an hour agonizing over whether or not to buy those boots? Haha! And then someone else is buying a freaking airplane online. The internet is a wild place, isn't it? It’s really something else.
