What is the screen time in Thailand?
Wow, Thailand really cut back on screen time, huh? I mean, going from over nine hours a day – 9 hours and 11 minutes, to be exact – in 2019 down to 7 hours and 58 minutes in 2024? That’s a pretty big drop. Like, what were they doing with all that extra time? Gardening? Actually talking to each other? I'm kind of envious! Think about it, that’s an hour and 13 minutes less staring at a screen each day. I know I could use an extra hour and 13 minutes. I remember reading somewhere that Thailand had the biggest decrease globally during that time. Crazy, right? I wonder what sparked that change. Maybe a big public health campaign? Or maybe everyone just suddenly realized how much time they were wasting scrolling through…well, whatever Thais scroll through. I should Google that, actually. Anyway, it’s pretty impressive. Makes me think I should put my phone down more often… Now, where was I?
