Who are the top 5 tech giant?

Okay, so you wanna know the big players in tech, huh? Well, if you ask me, it pretty much boils down to these five giants: Alphabet (that’s Google!), Amazon, Apple, Meta (you probably still know them as Facebook, right?), and good ol’ Microsoft.

We used to call them GAFAM, which was easy to remember, but then Facebook went and changed its name to Meta back in 2021. Can you believe how much things change? Anyway, these companies are just everywhere. Think about it: Google’s got your search, your email, your maps… Amazon? E-commerce, cloud services… Apple? Phones, watches… Meta? Social media, AR/VR… And Microsoft? Operating systems, software… I mean, seriously, where aren’t they?

I remember when I first got my smartphone – an iPhone, naturally! – and it just blew my mind how much Apple had managed to cram into one little device. It’s almost scary how much these companies influence our lives, isn’t it? They basically run the software, e-commerce, social media worlds… It is really a lot of power in just five hands, if you think about it. Sometimes I wonder, what will the future look like with them leading the charge? Anyone else ever think about that?
