You’re ready to checkout, your cart is full of exciting purchases, but the cash on delivery (COD) option is grayed out. Why? The availability of COD isn’t always straightforward and depends on a few key factors, primarily relating to our delivery partners and the complexities of combined shipping methods.

The most significant determinant is the delivery partner assigned to your order. Each partner operates within a specific service area, and COD availability is determined at their discretion within these zones. Factors influencing their decision can include local regulations, security considerations, and operational infrastructure within a particular region. So, even if COD is offered in your general area, it might not be available for your specific address due to the designated delivery partner’s policies.

Another hurdle for COD arises when you combine items with different shipping methods in a single order. Currently, our system isn’t equipped to process COD payments for orders with mixed shipping. This is because different partners might handle different parts of the order, making it logistically complex to manage a single cash payment upon delivery. For instance, if one item ships via standard ground shipping and another requires expedited delivery through a different carrier, the COD option becomes unavailable for the entire order.
